At Teen Micro-Lobbyists, we provide teens a platform to create change at the local level. Young people, regardless of background, have a place to share their opinions & viewpoints on issues while discussing solutions to the problems they see within their communities. We work with members to turn their idea into a reality.

 

With a diverse member base and mentoring programs, we guide and assist you, as you create change in your community. Our organization relies entirely on its members, helping them to make a difference.

As a nonpartisan organization, Teen Micro-Lobbyists is unbiased and does not support political parties or groups. We give all individuals a voice to share their thoughts and ideas.

Teen Micro-Lobbyists started at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020. Karishma Santebennur and Ty Javier, co-founders of TML, wanted to find out how they could make a difference within their community. It was then that the idea of micro-lobbying was formed. Micro-lobbying is not the same as lobbying, as it focuses on allowing community members to share their voice without compensation. Shortly, Liam Edwards joined the team to build this organization from the ground up as a founding member. Since then, we have worked on various projects across many different communities, creating change at the local level.
